A captivating career in IT
300 Indian youngsters who dream of a career in IT, have started a special training preparing them for work. With the support of NASSCOM and Collibri Foundation.

Cram for the IT world
India is known world-wide for its IT services. Many young people are dreaming of a future in this sector, but not everyone has the financial means to take an IT course. Consequently, Collibri Foundation supports a project of the NASSCOM Foundation, the foundation of the Indian National Association of Software and Services Companies.
300 youngsters, numerous training courses
Every year, 300 young people in difficult socio-economic situations have the opportunity to take practice-oriented IT training courses to improve their chances of finding a job. There are lots of subjects: hardware, Excel … But they also improve their 'soft skills'. In short, the perfect preparation for a job.

IT centre for the whole neighbourhood
The training takes place in the Colruyt NDLM Centre, inaugurated in 2016 by Jef Colruyt on the occasion of the National Digital Literacy Mission of the Indian government. It is fully equipped to teach locals from an underprivileged area in Hyderabad IT skills. Since Colruyt Group has an IT division in India since 2007, the centre was a logical choice.
