We support education projects for young people in difficult situations. We do this both in Belgium and in developing countries. We want young people from the North and the South to connect with each other through the exchange of ideas and cultures.

Our assignment
There is still a great deal of inequality in the world. Because of this, the United Nations created several millennium objectives, centring on for instance literacy. These objectives have not yet been met. We believe that education is the key to personal development. Because when people grow, our society benefits.
Products with a story
Over 15 years of Collibri Foundation: enough material for stories and anecdotes. It all started with a good idea. Colruyt Group wanted to do more for the regions their products came from. This birthed the first educational project in Colombia. This great initiative grew into a company fund with projects in several developing countries. Koen De Maesschalck, now responsible for Public Affairs & communication, was there from the beginning.
